Service Description

FishIntel is an AI-powered fishing intelligence platform that provides daily oceanographic analysis and fishing forecasts. Our service processes publicly available marine data to generate personalized fishing reports, species predictions, and environmental condition summaries.

FishIntel includes features such as:

  • Daily fishing condition reports
  • Species activity forecasts
  • Sea surface temperature analysis
  • Current and weather pattern insights
  • Customizable fishing zone monitoring
  • Email digest delivery

Data Sources & Accuracy

Our reports are generated using publicly available data from trusted sources:

  • NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) — Weather, sea conditions, satellite data
  • Copernicus Marine Service — Ocean analysis, currents, temperature data
  • Other government agencies — Additional marine and weather data sources

Data Attribution

Contains modified Copernicus Marine Service information 2026. Original data is processed through our AI analysis systems to generate fishing-specific insights.

Data Accuracy: The accuracy of our reports depends on source data availability and timeliness. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee the precision of predictions or forecasts.

User Accounts

  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • One Account Per Person: Each individual may maintain only one account
  • Accurate Information: You must provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Account Activity: You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • Unauthorized Access: Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

Subscriptions & Billing

Billing Terms

  • Recurring Billing: Subscriptions automatically renew each billing period via Stripe
  • Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards and other payment methods supported by Stripe
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
  • No Refunds: We do not provide refunds for partial months of service (standard SaaS practice)
  • Free Tier: A limited free tier is available with basic features

Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with 30 days notice. Existing subscribers will be notified by email and may cancel before the price change takes effect.

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

  • Redistribute Reports Commercially: Resell, redistribute, or use reports for commercial purposes without permission

Your Rights

  • Your Fishing Zones: Custom zones and areas you create belong to you
  • Personal Use: You may use reports for personal, non-commercial fishing activities

Source Data

NOAA and other government data sources are public domain. We add value through processing, analysis, and presentation but do not claim ownership of the underlying data.

Limitation of Liability

Liability Limits

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FishIntel AI's total liability for any claims arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

This includes but is not limited to damages from fishing trips, fuel costs, equipment, lost catch, business losses, or any consequential damages.

Service Availability

We provide the service "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service availability, accuracy of predictions, or specific fishing outcomes.

Account Termination

Your Right to Terminate

  • You may delete your account at any time from your account settings
  • Account deletion permanently removes all your data within 30 days
  • You may export your data before deletion

Our Right to Terminate

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abuse, or pose security risks. We will provide notice when possible, except in cases of severe violations.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Florida.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide 30 days notice via email. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
